Insolation AR puts a year-round light meter in your hand.

Analyse sunlight and shade around your home, rental property, vacation spot or potential purchase. Insolation AR answers all your questions about natural light:

- Will the deck be in shade during summer?
- How much light comes through the window in spring?
- Can I enjoy some warmth through the lounge window during winter mornings?
- Is this wall suitable for growing my plants?
- What time will the sun come around during fall?
- What is the best time of day and location to hold my drinks reception?

Insolation AR is intended for use by:

- Realtors
- Home buyers and owners
- Event planners
- Gardeners, landscapers

Use augmented reality (AR) to see exactly when the sun will be visible. Data is shown hour-by-hour for a particular day, or month-by-month across the whole year, giving you a sense of the light at a glance. Check the floating map to get an alternative 3D view of how light will fall through windows and doors, depending on their orientation.

You can even "teleport" to a remote location, such as next summers holiday destination, to understand how the sun will move through the sky from afar.

Notes:

- Augmented reality view does not require an internet connection
- Map view does require an internet connection
- For accurate results, ensure you follow the guided calibration procedure within the app
- Mobile device compasses may be inaccurate without regular calibration, or in certain environments (e.g. close to metal structures)
- While the information provided by Insolation AR may be useful in analysing available sunlight, it is not intended as a tool to support design of solar power (PV) systems
